20/20 is a time-tracking app built around one simple habit: a brief check-in every 20 minutes to log what you just did. At the end of the day — and week — you have a clear, honest picture of where your time actually went.
Tap the + button on the Today tab. Describe what you were doing, choose a category (and optional tags), and tap Save. You can also tap the microphone to use voice input — just speak and the app transcribes it for you.
Active windows are the days and hours when you want to receive check-in reminders. You set these during onboarding and can adjust them anytime in Settings → Reminders → Active Windows.
For example, if you work Monday–Friday from 9am to 6pm, set your active windows accordingly and you'll only receive reminders during those hours.
Yes — you can log entries manually at any time without notifications. However, the app's value comes from the consistent check-in habit. We recommend enabling notifications for the best experience.
Yes. When logging an entry, you can select multiple categories. This is useful for activities that genuinely span categories — like a working lunch (Work Admin + Leisure).
Tags are optional labels that add more detail to an entry beyond its category. For example, you might tag an entry as "meeting," "client," or "exercise." You can create your own tags and use them to filter and analyze your time in the Insights tab Pro.
Yes. When logging, tap the time selector to choose a different time slot. This is useful if you forget to log something — you can go back and fill it in.
Bulk Fill lets you log the same activity across a range of time slots at once — useful for filling in a long uninterrupted block, like a 3-hour deep work session. Access it from the logging sheet.
If two entries cover the same 20-minute time slot, both are flagged with an overlap indicator. This helps you spot double-counting in your data.
The ring shows what percentage of your active-window check-in slots have been logged today. A full ring means every slot has an entry. The threshold for a "covered" day (used in streak calculations) is 70% — so you don't need to be perfect.
Yes. Use the arrow in the Today header to navigate back to previous days. You can view entries from past days and add new ones, though editing is only available for today's entries.
Free users can view insights for the past 7 days. Pro users have access to full history with Day, Week, and Month period navigation.
The Focus Score is a 0–100 metric that reflects the quality of your time allocation — based on how much time went to Focused Work, how consistent your logging coverage was, and how varied your category usage was across hours. It's a directional signal, not a definitive grade.
Opportunities are personalized observations generated from your data — for example, if a large portion of your time is going to "Other" (suggesting under-categorization), or if you have consistent afternoon logging gaps. Up to 4 are shown at a time.
A Goal is an outcome you're working toward — something you want to achieve or change. A Habit is the specific recurring behavior linked to that goal, tracked weekly against a target. Goals are the "what," habits are the "how."
Every Sunday. You'll receive a push notification at 9am, and the app will show a prompt the first time you open it on Sunday.
Free users can access the last 4 weeks. Pro users have full history.
At the end of each weekly report, 20/20 suggests 5 personalized commitments for the coming week — derived from your actual habits and goals. Tap each one to adopt or skip it. Adopted commitments are saved and visible in future reports.
Pro unlocks: streaks (day/week/month), Top Activities, tag analytics and heatmap, Advanced Analytics (focus score, timeline, opportunities), Goals & Habits, full weekly reports, and data export.
